How to choose Chinese oolong tea
Choose oolong by oxidation, roast level, origin, aroma, and how many infusions you want from the leaves. Light oolong feels floral and bright; roasted oolong is deeper, warmer, and better for slow Gongfu sessions.
What to check
Oxidation level, roast, cultivar or region, leaf shape, aroma, and whether the tea suits a gaiwan or Yixing pot.
Brew
