We travel between different parts in China – Yixing, Shanghai, Jingdezhen, Dehua, and Huangshan, to explore, discover and connect with talented and trusted artists and studios.

This artist focuses on hand-built teapots crafted from authentic Yixing zisha clay. Each form reflects decades of refinement and precision, balancing traditional form with fluid movement.

The Gaiwan Painter

Working in Jingdezhen, this studio replicates the elegance of Qinghua porcelain using traditional brushwork, low-firing glazes, and hand-mixed pigments in every collectible piece.

The Tenmoku Master

Firing at over 1300°C, this artist specializes in Jian ware glazes with iron-rich crystals. The unpredictable magic of fire makes every Tenmoku cup a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.

The Tea Master

In the misty hills of Huangshan, our tea master hand-fires every batch of tea leaves in small woks over charcoal. This ancestral technique releases the full aroma and flavor of the leaf, honoring nature through human touch.
