2025 Biluochun – A Springtime Classic from Suzhou Xishan

Each batch is hand-picked from traditional tea trees on Xishan Mountain in Suzhou, capturing the first flush's tender essence and delicate fragrance.

Origin & Heritage

This premium Biluochun is harvested in early spring 2025 from the scenic Xishan area in Suzhou, where plum and peach blossoms bloom alongside centuries-old tea gardens. The tea leaves are carefully rolled into tight spirals resembling snail shells, giving Biluochun its name—“Green Snail Spring.”

Taste Profile

  • Aroma: Distinct floral and fruity fragrance, thanks to the co-planting of tea and fruit trees
  • Liquor: Pale jade green with crystalline clarity
  • Mouthfeel: Smooth, sweet, and fresh, with a lingering honeyed finish

Craftsmanship

Following traditional green tea methods, the tea is hand-harvested, withered, de-enzymed, shaped, and low-temperature dried—all done with great care to preserve its natural aroma and nutrients.

Appearance

  • Dry leaves: Silvery-white hairs, tightly rolled into fine spirals
  • Infused leaves: Tender and vibrant, full of life

Storage Tips

Keep sealed in a cool, dry place, away from light and odor. Best enjoyed within 18 months of harvest.

How to Brew Biluochun Green Tea

Step 1 – Warm the Cup

Pour hot water (85°C) into the cup to one-third level. Swirl and discard.

Step 2 – Add Tea

Step 3 – Pour Water

Fill the cup to 3/4 with 85°C water. Observe the leaves gracefully unfurl.

Step 4 – Sip & Enjoy

Wait 30 seconds, then sip. Refill water when 1/3 remains for multiple infusions.
