How the quick-brew (kuaike) cup works

A kuaike cup is a pot and cup in one: the lower vessel holds the brewed tea and the lid or inner basket holds the leaves. Brew, strain, then pour into the small cups. After brewing, the cups stack on or inside the main vessel so the whole set packs into the case. Stacked together the set stands about 11.5 cm (4.5 in) tall, small enough for a desk or a bag.
