Good fit if

You want one neutral vessel for several tea styles and more control over leaf opening and steep timing.

Check

Capacity, wall thickness, bowl shape, lid grip, and whether porcelain, glass, or clay suits your tea habits.

How to use

Start with smaller leaf amounts, hold the lid slightly open, and pour into a fairness pitcher or cups with a steady hand.

Care

Rinse after each session. Porcelain and glazed gaiwans are usually the easiest to keep neutral and clean.
