Jasmine Silver Needle – Traditional Six-Time Scented Craft

Handcrafted in Guangxi using premium first-bud green tea and fresh jasmine blossoms, this tea embodies centuries of floral infusion mastery.

Tea Overview

  • Type: Jasmine Scented White Tea
  • Origin: Heng County, Guangxi, China
  • Ingredients: Lightly roasted green tea, fresh jasmine flowers
  • Scenting: 6 times traditional scenting
  • Aroma: Intense jasmine fragrance

Tasting Notes

With its clean and delicate liquor, Jasmine Silver Needle greets you with a burst of natural jasmine aroma—floral, sweet, and lingering. The tea base offers a light body and smooth texture, leaving a refreshing finish without bitterness.

The unique feature? The flower is nowhere to be seen, yet always present. The jasmine soul penetrates the leaf, creating a cup that’s fragrant, elegant, and pure.

Appearance

  • Dry Leaves: Plump buds with white fuzz, silver-green hue
  • Liquor Color: Pale golden, crystal clear
  • Infused Leaves: Yellow-tinted, tender and enduring

Craftsmanship

This tea undergoes the traditional scenting-drying cycle six times with real jasmine flowers to ensure the aroma fully permeates each bud. No artificial additives—just time, care, and patience.

Before you buy

Before you buy this gaiwan

A gaiwan is one of the most direct Gongfu brewing vessels. It works best if you want clear leaf control, open aroma, and a very readable brew.

Good fit if

You want one neutral vessel for several tea styles and more control over leaf opening and steep timing.

Check

Capacity, wall thickness, bowl shape, lid grip, and whether porcelain, glass, or clay suits your tea habits.

How to use

Start with smaller leaf amounts, hold the lid slightly open, and pour into a fairness pitcher or cups with a steady hand.

Care

Rinse after each session. Porcelain and glazed gaiwans are usually the easiest to keep neutral and clean.
