Gardenia Fragrance Meets Fujian Oolong Heritage

Each piece is handcrafted in Zhangping, using only fresh Shuixian tea leaves naturally co-planted with gardenia flowers. A rare floral oolong with no artificial fragrance, exclusively harvested and pressed in 2025.

🌸 About This Tea

This compressed Shuixian oolong tea offers a stunning bouquet of natural gardenia blossom and milky sweetness, born from a unique symbiosis between tea trees and gardenia shrubs. These tea gardens, located in the misty valleys of Pingqiao Town, Fujian, have been managed under an ecological co-cultivation model for over 30 years.

✨ Why It’s Rare

Most Shuixian teas come from standard monoculture farms. But this tea’s aroma comes entirely from decades of natural hybrid planting, where the tea bushes and gardenia plants grow together. The result is a one-of-a-kind floral profile that can’t be replicated by blending or artificial scenting.

🍶 Brewing Instructions

1. Warm the Gaiwan
Pour hot water (100°C) to 1/3 height and swirl. Discard immediately.
2. Rinse the Tea
Place one tea block (approx. 8g) in the Gaiwan. Pour water in and pour out quickly to wake the tea.
3. Steep
Use 100°C water. Steep for 10–12 seconds for the first 3 brews, then gradually extend the time.
4. Enjoy
Pour tea into small cups and savor slowly. Aim for 7/10 fill per cup.

Extremely limited vintage – secure your gardenia oolong before it’s gone.

Before you buy

Before you buy this gaiwan

A gaiwan is one of the most direct Gongfu brewing vessels. It works best if you want clear leaf control, open aroma, and a very readable brew.

Good fit if

You want one neutral vessel for several tea styles and more control over leaf opening and steep timing.

Check

Capacity, wall thickness, bowl shape, lid grip, and whether porcelain, glass, or clay suits your tea habits.

How to use

Start with smaller leaf amounts, hold the lid slightly open, and pour into a fairness pitcher or cups with a steady hand.

Care

Rinse after each session. Porcelain and glazed gaiwans are usually the easiest to keep neutral and clean.
